Economics PhD Candidate
Hi, I'm Shuo.
My name is Shuo Song. I am a PhD student at the Toulouse School of Economics, France. My research
interests lie in
Empirical Industrial Organization.
My current work focuses on the IO of GenAI. Specifically, I study the competition among LLMs
and the associated infrastructure sectors,
such as semiconductors and energy.
Prior to joining TSE, I obtained my Bachelor's degree from the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in
Economics (WISE) at Xiamen University, China.
Outside of economics, I cultivate interests in photography and the history of Ming Empire
(1368-1644).
My favorite poet is XIN Qiji.
